Becoming a Member of the
Brazos County Sheriff's Academy Alumni Association

At the end of the 10- week program, you will have an opportunity to Join the Alumni! 

As a member you get to pick and choose, where you fit in (as slots are available and as you complete any necessary follow-on training).
 
Training Currently Available: FEMA (EOC Support) and Special Services Civil Papers Processing.Future training: Added FEMA training (CERTS), and Grant Writing. 
 
We will consider ourselves blessed when you join us. We simply have our monthly meetings and special meetings as projects require. 
 
Announce upcoming events and give you the opportunity to serve using your talents. Ask for volunteers, and trust you to show up and represent us, the Sheriff’s Alumni, and the Sheriff’s Office proudly.

The Brazos County Citizen Sheriff’s Academy is an exciting 10-week program that gives participants a firsthand look at how the agency operates. As a member, you will learn about the latest trends and procedures in law enforcement as well as the duties and responsibilities of various divisions within our agency. You will also have the opportunity to participate in tours of our various facilities as well as participate in hands-on workshops.
 

The Brazos County Citizen Sheriff’s Academy Meets each Tuesday from 6:30p to 8:30p at the Sheriff’s Office. 

The program is 10 weeks long and there is no cost to participate, but seating is limited.
